The audit of the Knowledge Intensive Services (KIS) sectors in the seven regions participating in ATLANT KIS is a key objective of the project. The audits were carried out by the project partners individually and are compiled in the overall report. Using a bottom-up approach, the audits have determined the capacities and competencies of existing KIS, identified barriers to the matching of supply and demand, and assessed the overall framework of the KIS sector at a trans-national level.
